In Agrigento the policemen of the Flying Squad intervened with sirens blaring in via Regione Siciliana, in the “La mano di Francesco” accommodation community, where a 29-year-old Tunisian guest took possession of some gas cylinders in the kitchen and made threats for the failure to deliver some documents. His wife and three young children protested together with him. The Tunisian immediately returned the cylinders. He was reported at large to the Agrigento Prosecutor’s Office for threats and damage. As regards the documents, the Prefecture has been informed.

He was present and mentioned several times on the home pages of the Repubblica and Live Sicilia websites. Ruoppolo’s lookalike, Angelo Joppolo, alias Alessandro Pappacoda, was the protagonist of the successful and popular column “Camera Zhen”, broadcast on Teleacras, and of the Christmas film “Scratch and Run”, with a very crowded “premiere” at the Cine Astor of Agrigento. His videos on YouTube have almost 30 million total views as of June 2023. He was awarded several prizes including: “Sipario d’Oro”, “Alessio Di Giovanni”, “Mimosa d’Oro”, “Pippo Montalbano”.
