«We started this project in 2007 and its longevity demonstrates how it is a valid initiative and which, as an association, we will continue to support and guarantee – declares Roberto Guaitoli, president of Lapam Confartigianato Moda –. This is always a very interesting moment, both for the students and for the participating companies and which once again reaffirms Lapam’s closeness to local schools. These types of initiatives represent an opportunity for companies to learn about future resources that they can include in their business, but they also contribute to making the school aware of the needs that businesses in the district have today. One of our objectives as an association is to create a bridge between schools and businesses to bridge the gap between job supply and demand. With these courses of study in the company we also teach them a trade, to have in the future specialized professional figures that our sector needs to remain unique and competitive at a national and international level, promoting that Made in Italy brand of which fashion is one of the most representative emblems”.
«As always, we thank Lapam Confartigianato and the participating companies for welcoming our students – he states Silvia De Vitis, head teacher of the Vallauri Institute of Carpi –. I also want to thank the guest of honor Daniela Dallavalle for her presence and all the teachers who collaborated on this edition: the contact person for the project Silvana Passarelli beyond Silvia Barletta And Fiorella Galluccio. I can’t help but mention it though too Enrica Devoto, who organized the choreography for the parade. The project started with the association has been consolidated for several years now and this 16th edition was certainly one of the most original in terms of creativity and imagination. This is a significant opportunity for our boys and girls: experiencing the entrepreneurial world first-hand, experiencing a business and the daily work that takes place within consolidated realities of our territory allow them to have a first approach to the working world. The school is able to provide the theoretical tools to train them: thanks to these collaborations, students can also acquire their first technical skills.”
