16 measures, 13 of which were issued against the subjects involved in the attacks that occurred in recent months in the Pincio area and in the historic center of Fano, were adopted by the Police Commissioner of the province of Pesaro and Urbino Francesca Montereali at the end of an analysis activity by the Division Anti-crime with the aim of preventing violent, criminal or otherwise dangerous conduct for public order and safety in the province.
For the events that occurred in Fano, 7 Oral Warnings and 6 Access Bans to Urban Areas (improperly called urban Daspo) were issued. All the subjects are reported for crimes against property, fights, drug dealing, violent assaults and mistreatment, in the home or outside public places.
In particular, the measures affected the small group of young people held responsible for the attack on a Tunisian that occurred on March 29 at the Sport Park: they were two Egyptians, an Italian girl and a fourth young man yet to be identified. The following day the two Tunisians met the older brother of the attacked Tunisian in the centre, triggering a fight which led to the issuing of 2 oral warnings to the 2 Tunisian minors hosted in two different centers for unaccompanied minors in the province.
The function of the measures adopted for the facts mentioned above by the Anti-Crime Division of the Pesaro and Urbino Police Headquarters, directed by the First Manager Dr. Giovanni Accardo, is to prevent events that cause strong social alarm.
Three further measures were issued, as part of different investigative activities, for episodes of stalking and domestic violence.
The events caused considerable disturbance in the city of Fano due to the particularly violent conduct carried out by young North African citizens in the heart of the city, in broad daylight, and recorded by video surveillance systems, which went around the web.
