CASERTA – The elections European they are truly a taboo for Italians and also for the citizens of the province of Caserta. Europe is certainly not one of the priorities to arouse a certain interest in the voters of Caserta, who are increasingly distant from the issues falling within the competence of the European Union.
European elections 2024, low voter turnout in the Caserta area: only 12.70% vote
The Caserta people’s lack of interest in Europe is confirmed by the low turnout, we would say almost at historic lows for the elections for the renewal of the European Parliament, now demonstrating a lack of people’s attachment to voting and to politics in general.
The percentage rises where people vote in municipal elections: polling stations open until 11pm today
Conversely, the percentage of voters grows in the Municipalities of Caserta who go to vote for the renewal of the various municipal councils. Today still remains to express one’s preference and confirm or not the flop of the vote in the European elections and the administrative elections of 8 and 9 June. Probably, many voters will return home after a nice trip out of town and go to the polling stations to vote in the Cesarini area. We’ll see.
