The 6th Guarda Rimini event as well as the 25th Golden Fest scheduled for Sunday 19 May will take place in the heart of Rimini touching the Tiberius Bridge, the Arch of Augustus, the Parco del Mare, the Grand Hotel di Rimini, the Ferris Wheel , the Darsena and the artists’ long river before the finish line in the shadow of the Tiberius Bridge.
The 6th Guarda Rimini will start at 9.00 am while the youth races will start 5 minutes later.
The routes on the bill are 10.5 km for the Family Run, 6.5 km for the Rimini Walking while the Youth Guarda Rimini will take place on a protected circuit inside the XXV Aprile Park.
Registrations can be made online on the official website or from 7.30 to 8.45 at the secretariat located at the Strampalato via Tiberio 6 – Rimini.
All participants will receive a pack of Piadina Riminese from the Pica company.
Awards will be given to the top 3 in each youth category, to the first man and first woman in the Family Run and to the 15 largest companies with at least 10 members.
The 6th Guarda Rimini sporting event organized by the Golden Club Rimini is sponsored by the Municipality of Rimini and will take place under the aegis of the Uisp Territorial Committee of Rimini.
For the Golden Club Rimini it is a restart, last year, the flood had hit Romagna penalizing the Guarda Rimini which the Golden Club Rimini however had kept it standing to give a sign of normality to the community.
We remember with pleasure the Golden senators Roberta Pellegrini, Sara Sammarini and Monica Costantini who organized the collection of food parcels donated by the great hearts of the runners and personally delivered to Team Bòta for the flooded populations.
Among the participants on Sunday are some athletes from all over the region such as Leonardo Anselmi from Piacenza, the top runners from Rimini Marco Oppioli, Luana Leardini, Arianna Landi and many others.
On this occasion, Strampalato has prepared two tasting menus for runners based on meat and fish which can be booked directly by Wednesday 15 May.
