TREVISO – An exhibition for children in the Cà Foncello hospital. Is titled “At your height” and the collective exhibition of paintings organized by the Art Emotions for Soul association of Mussolente, conceived and curated by Mario Castellese. «I am happy that a child-friendly art exhibition will find space in our hospital – comments the general director, Francesco Benazzi -, giving food for thought even to adults who have to bend down to admire the works. Even a distracted or worried person passing through the corridor will have the opportunity to intercept something different which, at least for a moment, will it will distract you from daily tasks. I thank the curator of the exhibition, the association that promotes it and the public relations office that supported the beautiful initiative.”
The exhibition inside the hospital
Art inside healthcare facilities makes a stop at Ca’ Foncello, for the first time in a hospital, with 28 works by Italian artists, positioned at child height, inspired by the greatest masters of art history with the addition of some elements that recall the tale of Pinocchio or those of Andersen. And so, in the central corridor, on the first floor of the hospital, there appear canvases inspired by Matisse and his dancers holding Pinocchio by the hand, by Van Gogh and the sower’s tree where the cat and the fox are hiding, Pinocchio’s letters in Mondrian style and Andersen’s fairy tales hidden in the works of Degas, Goya, Kandinsky. The exhibition is designed and organized for children, children who deserve attention and care also through art which thus also has a social function. For a month it will be open to visitors in the Treviso hospital, before continuing its “mission” in other facilities.
