Everything is ready for the third edition of the highly appreciated Tower Kings of Asti.
This time in Via Ramelli (in the parking area located in front of the entrance to the Spazio Kor) from 7 to 9 June, the 3×3 basketball tournamentwhich wants to confirm itself as a great party with the ambition of becoming, year after year, more and more a point of reference in Piedmont and on the national territory.
The Tower Kings project born in 2022 by young basketball enthusiasts who felt the need to create something unique and accessible to all and, already since the second edition, Tower Kings has become an amateur sports association registered with CONI and entrusted to the Italian Basketball Federation.
Since the inaugural edition, the tournament has been part of the Estathé 3×3 Italia Streetbasket FIP Circuit, organized by FIP and Master Group Sport, recognized globally by FIBA.
The enthusiasm is sky high after the 2023 edition took place in the setting of Alfieri Square saw a daily influx of around 900 people around the fields, to see the 250 athletes divided into 40 teams up close.
Beyond quantity, quality was also of absolute value with the team winning both FIP TOP categories, The GOAT 3×3, who then participated in the Red Bull Half Court World Finals in Belgrade. Teams from different regions also participated in the tournaments, including the Mair 3×3 boys from Bolzano.
In this new edition the mission of entertaining athletes and bringing more and more people to this sport does not change. In addition to the tournaments (TOP Male and Female, Amateur, Under 15, Under 17 and Under 19) we will also try to create moments of entertainment with the slam dunk contest and the 3-point shooting competition, special guests and music.
