First territorial club of the Brothers of Italy in the city: the important milestone was reached ten years after the party was founded and comes on the eve of an appointment considered crucial for the group of reference to the current Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni. In a month, in fact, we will vote for the European elections: a test considered strategic by Fdi to measure the degree of appreciation of the government in office from the end of 2022. The current hard core of the party did not, therefore, hesitate for a moment in saying yes to the challenge granted by the provincial secretary Michele Schiano.
About twenty signatures to endorse the proposal to open the territorial club at the headquarters in via Circumvallazione among which the city commissioner Luca Alini, the deputy Luigi Scarfogliero and the coordinator for the Golden Mile area Salvatore Quirino stand out: «Keep a baptism of the first club established in Torre del Greco – says Salvatore Quirino – makes us happy and proud. Having a meeting point where we talk about politics is obviously important to try to achieve the results we have set ourselves. The headquarters in via Circumvallazione is located in the heart of the city: we are certain that it will be a meeting point for members and many supporters”.
In these weeks, then, the club in via Circumvallazione will also act as the electoral committee of the candidate for the European Parliament Alberico Gambino: «He is a historic militant of the Brothers of Italy – continues Salvatore Quirino – and his political experience, he who is being mayor of Pagani, provincial councilor and regional councilor, is a guarantee.” The first public appointment with the candidate for the European elections is scheduled for Wednesday 15 May at 7.30 pm at the headquarters of the territorial club in via Circumvallazione.
