Treviso – It will be the coach’s Ravenna Andrea Camanzi the first opponent in order of time that the coach’s team Matteo Brisciani will be faced on Wednesday 22 May when, for the Amaranth junior team, it will be a matter of returning to the field, after next week’s break which will serve to leave room for the Juniores Cup to take place: today, in fact, the Romagna players were defeated in Treviso with the result of 3 to 2, at the end of a no holds barred match which saw the Ravenna team take the lead after 2 minutes of the match thanks to a goal from the 2007 class Marco Castellacci and the people of Treviso found the signature with which they managed to definitively break the balance, only thanks to an invention of Francesco Bortolotto one minute from the final whistle.
In light of today’s result and the formulation of the three-way table drawn previously, Livorno will be called to play two matches over three days: on Wednesday 22 May they will visit Ravenna, who finished in second place in Group E and won the playoff of the relevant group to the detriment of Corticella and Imolese, and on Saturday 25 May they will receive Treviso, winner of the playoff of group D to the detriment of Campodarsego and Monte Prodeco, despite the worst positioning in the standings compared to both (the Biancocelesti of mister Umberto Beraldoin fact, they had finished fourth behind Monte Prodeco and Campodarsego).
The regulation provides that only one team belonging to the triangular “2” composed of Treviso, Ravenna and Livorno will access the round of 16, to which the teams that have won each of the eleven groups of the Under 19 National Junior Championship have already qualified and that , with the same number of goals scored in direct matches, the team with the best goal difference qualifies for the next phase.
