The Cozza Selvaggia from Marina di Ravenna is one of the most prized in Italy. The supply chain of this identifying product of our sea is important for economic, tourist, gastronomic and environmental purposes. The festival is held with the collaboration of the cozzari cooperatives who collect mussels and local restaurants – from the Ravenna beaches to the city of Ravenna – who include Wild Mussels from Marina di Ravenna in their menus. Another highlight on the program is a sea excursion with boats on Saturday 29th at 10am, in collaboration with Eni. The party also hosts a valuable initiative by fundraiser for charitable purposes in memory of Loris Barberini, a true cozzaro fisherman from Marina di Ravenna. The funds raised by family and friends will be used to purchase a defibrillator which will be placed in the fish market area.
