LISTEN. With the championship at a standstill and the end of the season not involving Pisa, it’s basically already the future for the Nerazzurri. And, while waiting for the moves for the adults, there is important news regarding the youth sector.
Important because it is practically what is done for the arrival of Fausto Garcea leading the basic activity, i.e. everything that concerns the little ones. He comes from San Giuliano, where he has worked with excellent results for the last 10 years. But for him this is not the first experience among professionals. Previously, in fact, he was for a long time in one of the most important youth sectors on the national scene, for results achieved and above all for players launched, such as that of Empoli. Where, in practice, he was the “father” of the football school, a sector that he built and started. Official confirmation from the club is still missing, but Garcea himself and the president of San Giuliano, Roberto Musca, have already certified it. The choice to rely on a professional like Garcea, therefore, says a lot about how much Pisa still wants to invest in the growth of the academy.
A nursery which today, moreover, is experiencing another important day. In fact, at the “Necchi-Balloni” in Forte dei Marmi, the Primavera (already certain of access to the promotion playoffs, yes) will play, at 3pm against Napoli, for a place on the podium in group B. With a success the coach’s Nerazzurri Innocenti would be certain of third place and would have the opportunity to play the playoff semi-final (single match) at home against the fourth team in group A; in the event of a draw or defeat, however, the opponent would be the third-placed team in group A, obviously on the opposing pitch.
Also on the field today are the women’s Juniors, against Rinascita Doccia at 4pm at the Scirea pitch in Arena Metato, and the women’s Under 15s, against Vigor at 6pm in the same facility.
