A curious series of signs was hung in some places of Varese And Legnano: adorned with real flowers and scattered around the two cities, they contain the invitation to tear off part of the sign to be able to take away the flower tied to it and give it to your mother. Not a joke, but an invitation to kindness on the occasion of Mother’s Daywhich falls Sunday 12 May.
Several passers-by have already stopped curious, and the bravest have taken the flower from the sign and brought it home as a gift. A simple but significant gesture to pay homage to mothers in a unique way.
But who had this idea? A clue comes from the signs themselves where, after indicating who each of them is “A free flower to give with a kiss and a smile” dedicated to all mothers, there is further advice written: “And if one flower isn’t enough for you, here you can find all the others”. The QR code imprinted refers to the Amorillo websitea brilliant floral reality that has its headquarters in Legnano and Varese.
Amorillo, the florist behind this initiative, wanted to create something different for this one Mother’s Day, which surprised and made you smile. With her floral signs, she has made it possible for everyone – or rather for those lucky ones who come across them – to give a gift that comes from the heart. Flowers, a symbol of beauty and love, are in fact a perfect way to express gratitude and affection towards mothers.
