The extraordinary services aimed at ensuring public order and safety continue in Trapani, with a focus on different areas of the province. In the month of April 2024, the police forces conducted 77 extraordinary services, with particular attention to the historic center of the capital and various provincial municipalities, including Alcamo and Marsala. During the interventions, over 5,000 checks were carried out on individuals subject to judicial obligations, with 52 reports for personal use of drugs.

The commitment to combating violations of the Highway Code was significant, with 628 violations confirmed, including speeding, driving while intoxicated and failure to comply with vehicle safety regulations. Furthermore, 47 incidents and disputed violations related to the environmental field, such as the abandonment of waste, were detected, with 3 disputes and 5 complaints.

The Prefecture has issued several license suspensions, in particular for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Other interventions concerned administrative measures for safety, such as bans on the possession of weapons and rejections of requests for registration on supplier lists. In the workplace, 14 companies were checked for irregularities, with 12 referrals regarding hygiene and safety at work.

The work of the local authorities, in synergy with the police forces, has demonstrated a constant commitment to preserving legality and safety in the Trapani area, with actions aimed at combating illegal phenomena and ensuring compliance with current regulations.
