The RinnoviAmo Forlì civic list proposes the photographic exhibition on Ukraine “This is war”

The RinnoviAmo Forlì civic list invites citizens to the photographic exhibition “This is War”, an extraordinary event that opens windows on the drama and resistance of the Ukrainian people. The exhibition, organized by the candidate of Ukrainian origin Ihor Savitskyy, by the candidate Francesca Resta and by the volunteers from the list, will be open to the public on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 May at the RinnoviAmo Forlì headquarters, located in Corso Diaz 94, in Forlì, from 10.00am to 7.00pm. Entrance is free, with the possibility for those who wish to leave an offering which will be destined for Ukrainian children, offering concrete support to those experiencing the consequences of this tragedy.

“The Price of Freedom” is the central theme of this exhibition, which offers an authentic look at the conflict in Ukraine, with an emotional testimony. The images exhibited highlight the harsh reality of war, showing how life and death are intertwined in a precarious balance. From houses devastated but still standing to nights lit by the fires of distant battles, each shot tells a story of resistance and hope. The photographs take us through the Ukrainian cities tormented by the conflict: Kyiv, Kharkiv, Borodianka, Bucha, Irpin, Izium and many others.

The second part of the exhibition is entirely dedicated to Mariupol, a city hit hard by Russian bombing. The images starkly expose the destruction and wounded humanity of a war-stricken community.
