POZZUOLI| The seismic swarm continues, 61 earthquakes recorded in 11 hours

Among the most intense tremors recorded since midnight sinceVesuvian Observatory were of magnitude 2.9 degreesfrom the 05:53 am with the epicenter always near the Solfatarato one depth Of thousand meters.

Subsequently, other strong tremors were recorded and felt by the population of magnitude 2.2 degrees from the 06.46 am with epicenter via Antiniana to one depth of two thousand meters and finally that of 2.0 degrees at 06.44 am with epicenter Naples ring road to one depth of a thousand meters.

“In consideration of the above, the Municipal Administration together with the Civil Protection of the Municipality of Pozzuoli is closely following the evolution of the ongoing seismic sequence and will provide subsequent updates until the phenomenon is concluded”, informs the Municipality of Pozzuoli.
