FANO Attacks in the historic center and in Sassonia di Fano: 13 measures issued against as many young people, mostly of Maghreb origins. These are oral warnings (7 in total) and bans on access to urban areas (there are 6 so-called urban Daspo). Preventive measures ordered by the Police Headquarters, which draw further attention to the hardship of young immigrants in Fano.

The racketeering suspect

Precisely in recent days the Social Territorial Area has in fact denounced, through the voice of its coordinator Roberta Galdenzi, the risk that the drug racket has infiltrated the youth migratory flows. Considerations on which the police maintain a scrupulous silence. The situation is, however, arousing social alarm, which has become even stronger since last Easter, to which the thirteen preventive measures adopted by the police commissioner Francesca Montereali refer based on the investigations carried out by the Anti-Crime Division, directed by Giovanni Accardo.

The first episode

The first episode therefore dates back to 29 March and occurred in a public place in Saxony: four young people (two Egyptians, an Italian and another person yet to be identified) were charged with the crimes of threats and aggravated personal injury of a Tunisian peer, who was allegedly attacked with a headbutt and sprays of stinging spray, also towards his friends. A knife appears to have appeared in the fray. Oral warnings were therefore issued against some and the so-called urban Daspo was issued against the others.

The measures

It is forbidden to return to public places in Sassonia and access any business that supplies alcoholic beverages in Fano, from 7pm until closing time. The second episode the following day: the fight on April 30th in the historic center of Fano, when the two young Egyptians encountered in broad daylight the brother of the Tunisian who had been attacked the evening before. Even in that case more people were involved. Oral warnings to two boys of Tunisian origins (hosted by two centers for unaccompanied minors) and a similar measure for one of their compatriots. Further warnings on an Egyptian and a Tunisian, who had already been banned from returning to Fano. The work of the Police Headquarters is not finished, in fact other personal preventive measures are being evaluated.

Three incidents of stalking

In reality, the measures adopted by the Police Headquarters are sixteen in total, the other three concern completely different situations and crimes: stalking and domestic violence. Two episodes were considered most relevant. An Italian citizen has been warned for sexually assaulting his non-cohabiting partner last January. A picture of physical and psychological violence, beatings and insults, which would continue in subsequent periods.

The other warning concerns the partner of a girl from Pesaro. The woman decided to end the romantic relationship and for this decision she had to endure intrusive and harassing behaviour: stalking outside her workplace, home and shopping shops, together with messages left on the car or in the letterbox. .
