CAPO RIZZUTO ISLAND – He had over 100 grams of cocaine hidden in the car. For this reason, a 19-year-old boy from Crotone was arrested by the Flying Squad in Isola di Capo Rizzuto. The arrest occurred following a check carried out by the State Police at the entrance to the town of Isola Capo Rizzuto. The officers noticed suspicious movements of a vehicle which, at their sight, increased speed, trying to move away.
The car was immediately reached and stopped. The Flying Squad patrol identified the boy driving who was found to have prejudices regarding drugs. For this reason, the car was searched, inside which three wrappers were found, containing a white powdery substance which, subjected to analysis by the Provincial Scientific Police Office, was found to be cocaine.
The drugs found, 160 grams, were seized; the young man from Crotone, arrested, was placed at the disposal of the Public Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of Crotone.
