After a first half lacking in excitement, Cesena broke the deadlock in the second with Corazza scoring a penalty. After Debenedetti’s momentary equalizer, Shpendi closed it out in injury time.

In the 65th minute, a nice Shpendi-Berti combination but the shot from nine is too high. In the 72nd minute Bragantini manages to get in the shot, with Prestia clearing it for a corner. In the 83rd minute Monachello serves Debenedetti in the area, who manages to turn and beat Pisseri, bringing the match back into balance. In injury time, the ball remained in the Mantova area, Shpendi was the quickest to make it his own and score the final 2-1 goal. The match isn’t over yet, because at the end Monachello hits the crossbar, then Ciofi covers Pisseri’s exit who makes it to him.
