The home defeat against Varese and the simultaneous victory against Brescia make Estra Pistoia the opponent of the 2023/24 playoff quarter-finals
A home defeat at 78-96 against Varese ends the regular seasonEstra Pistoia which therefore finishes its championship in sixth place. A dream position that until a few months ago seemed unachievable but now allows Della Rosa and his teammates to compete in the Serie A playoffs.
The opponent in the first round will be Brescia who this afternoon, Sunday 5 May, won against Brindisi with a score of 94-75. The precedents in the season see Pistoia down 2-0 with the Leonessa capable of imposing itself on Estra both on the friendly parquet and at the PalaCarrara.

Until a few moments from the siren it was Armani Milan Pistoia’s opponent in the quarter-finals but the triple at the siren that gave the red shoes victory over Cremona completely turned the tables on the table.
