With three awards, Best Actor for Michele Riondino, Best Supporting Actor for Elio Germano and Best Original Song for Diodato, Laf building brings home an exceptional result at the 69th edition of David Of Donatello.

But on the David stage there is also another great industry that finds one of its champions in Puglia, the musical one: with Diodato who with “La mia terra” wins the award for Best Original Song composed specifically for the film Palazzina Laf . «I would like to dedicate it to my land and to Taranto, my city, a city that suffers but that I invite everyone to come and see how beautiful it is despite this», said the Apulian singer on receiving the award. An award that arrives on the same day in which his tour recorded five new sold outs, also in Lecce and Bari.

Palazzina Laf is therefore consecrated as the revelation of the award, landing directly among the big names immediately after Paola Cortellesi with six, Marco Bellocchio and Matteo Garrone with five awards for “Rapito” and “Io Capitano”.

What is convincing, in addition to the skill of the team, is also the strength and anger of the story told. The words also bear witness to this Elio Germanowho won the award for best supporting actor for the film, also learning the Tarantino dialect to be credible in the role: «We worked sitting at the table as we do in the theater – he said from the stage – thanking the many who told their Palazzina Laf breaking the silence regarding this story.”
