Cinema Italia – Belluno

After the success of the month of March, the screenings of the series “The Veneto Region for quality cinema – The Region takes you to the cinema with three euros – Tuesdays at the cinema” continue throughout the month of May at the Cinema Italia in Belluno ”, a multi-year project of the Veneto Region carried out within the framework of the Regione – AGIS – ANEC agreement in collaboration with the Italian Arthouse Cinema Federation (FICE) of the Tre Venezie and the Triveneta Interregional Union AGIS.

Every Tuesday of the month, fans will be able to enter the theater with a ticket at the reduced cost of three euros, which will allow them to appreciate quality works from the most important film festivals in the world on the big screen, as well as discover new films that have just been released.

For this first event of the month, Tuesday 7 May, the Belluno theater has chosen to screen the film “Un mondo a parte” (Italy, 2024) by Riccardo Milani at 5.00 pm, 7.00 pm and 9.00 pm. A new life seems to be opening up for elementary school teacher Michele Cortese. After 40 years of teaching in the Roman jungle, he manages to get assigned to the Cesidio Gentile Institute known as Jurico: a school made up of a single multi-class school, with children aged 7 to 10, in the heart of the Abruzzo National Park. Thanks to the help of the vice-principal Agnese and the children, he overcomes his metropolitan inadequacy and becomes one of them. When everything seems to be going well, however, the news arrives that the school, due to lack of enrolments, will close in June. Thus begins a race against time to avoid its closure in any way.

Every week it will be possible to check which works are scheduled on the website www.agistriveneto.it and on the Facebook page @agis.trevenezie.

The cost of the ticket is 3 euros. Seat reservations are reserved to the management of the room.
