A doubly positive result achieved by the City of Andria in the year 2023. From January 1st to December 31st, in fact, the percentage of separate waste collection stood at 75.27, the highest percentage among the Cpeople of Puglia. This was communicated by a managerial determination dated 16 April of the Department of Environment, Landscape and Urban Quality – Waste Cycle and Reclamation section of the Puglia Region. The determination, in addition to acquiring the data validated by ARPA Puglia, proceeds at the same time as determining the special tax for landfilling (the ecotax) of undifferentiated waste due for the year 2024, correlated precisely to the percentages recognizing the expected reduction: Andria , and this is the second positive fact, it receives a 20 percent reduction in the amount of the tax and the 2024 ecotax – equal to 15.49 euros per ton, will be reduced to 3.098 euros per ton.
