“I intend to thank the commissioner Raffaele Gargiulo for what he did for the province of Latina during his mandate in the Pontine capital. I wish him my most sincere best wishes for success in his new role. In the same way I want to welcome the new police commissioner Fausto Vinci to Latina. I also wish him good luck in his work, certain that he will be able to take up the legacy left by his predecessor with skill.
In my opinion it is necessary to strengthen our citizens’ sense of security and defense. I would therefore like to underline the importance of the police forces who are present in the area, for their incessant commitment to fighting crime. The joint commitment of the institutions at the service of citizens is essential to address the complex issues that affect our community, which has always been considered rich in extraordinary potential and quality. The institutions must try to give a strong signal that goes in the direction of respect for the law and for the valorization of our assets. In particular, we must defend the productive activities of the territory. Anyone who wants to invest must be able to operate in maximum safety.
