The Malatestiana Library of Cesena offers daily initiatives aimed at users of all ages: from zero to 99 years old. Among the events that are also renewed in the month of May, including on the occasion of the extraordinary openings on Tuesdays, there are those proposed by the Media Library, in the Gaming room, dedicated to board games and role-playing games, open to anyone, from those who do not has never tried them until the most experienced. The first appointment is for Saturday 4 May, from 3 pm: it is “Star Wars Day”, informal commemorative day recurring annually on May 4th to celebrate the Star Wars. During the afternoon, the volunteers from the gaming area will accompany all those present along the path of strength through themed board games distributed by Asmodee. Will players trust the light side of the force or embrace the dark side? Will they side with the Empire or with the rebels?
Games
“Star Wars Unlimited” is a fast-paced, easy-to-learn collectible card game. Players will be able to face each other in exciting battles filled with the most famous characters from the Star Wars universe. “Star wars the deckbuilding game” instead addresses the theme of the conflict between the Galactic Empire and the Rebel Alliance in an exciting head-to-head challenge. Each player will gradually enrich his starting deck of cards, purchasing others that will give him greater firepower and superior resources to allow him to attack and defeat his opponent. “Star Wars Outer Rim” requires you to know how to play the roles of bounty hunters, smugglers and mercenaries ready to leave their mark on the galaxy.
In reference to Tuesday evening openings, starting from 8pm the volunteers from Area Games Cesena and Arci Servizio Civile will liven up the Gaming Room with proposals for board games for everyone and always different. You can also bring your own board or role-playing games and play with anyone who wants to. After this evening’s appointment, we return on Tuesday 7 May with “Volare, oh oh. Planets in board games”.
