TERAMO – “A fair in full health and growing rapidly. The committee has grown and the exhibition spaces have grown, we have saturated the river park, unfortunately leaving out 21 companies, including national leaders in the sector. We have already decided to develop other areas to allow exhibitors to have enough space.”

“The short supply chain becomes fundamental because it allows us to return to the concept of an agricultural company, where the farmer is capable, with his knowledge and mastery, of producing at 360 degrees. He cannot produce everything but he will not create a monoculture that will necessarily become industrial-level”, the professor pointed out Leonardo Seghettiagronomist, speaking at the dialogue “Short supply chain agreement in the middle Vomano”.

“Short supply chain means producing different products typical of a specific territory and, through an agreement between producers, together offering them to the final part of the chain which could be the restaurant industry and, why not, directly to the consumer who can thus taste flavors that perhaps he has forgotten “, he added. “Whoever forgets how to work the land forgets himself, all land is valid, each with its own specific case: there is the anthropological factor capable, at times, of even making up for what nature has not given him”.
