Throughout the championship we went in fits and starts, despite the many efforts made by the club during the year to try to put the team back in order, but we never managed to find a real identity, and we went in gusts. If in terms of away victories the progress was good, in those obtained at home we ranked last.”
What was missing? «Often we try to find perhaps a single difficulty, but in our case the difficulties were 360 degrees and this is demonstrated by the fact that only when the championship was almost over did we manage to achieve two consecutive victories, and this says a lot about the difficulties encountered» .
Serie A2. «First of all, it is a beautiful championship in which many important teams play. In this championship, individual initiatives have less relevance, because what matters is having a good team system. Furthermore, since there is a direct promotion, it will be an even more interesting championship, and it must absolutely be interpreted. In the sense that if you experience it as a passing thing, taking some matches for granted, you risk getting hurt, while if you experience it with the right respect and participation you have fun. There are important teams that every year want to make the leap in category and to understand this you just need to look at the eight teams that will play the semi-finals in the two Conferences at this end of the season.”
