A day to forget for a woman who was vile stolen. A 65 years old was robbed at Bagheria. Object of the theft one gold necklace with a pendulum containing the photo of son 22 year old deceased a few years ago. Unfortunately, the drama did not end because the lady immediately collapsed on the ground fainting precisely because of fear. The unfortunate woman was then taken by an ambulance to the Pte (territorial emergency point). The doctors found some abrasions on her neck caused by the attack.
From the approach to the escape
In Via Veneto, near Corso Umberto, the theft occurred around 11.30am today, April 29th. The 65-year-old was inside the parked car when she was approached by a boy who got out of a car moped. An accomplice was driving the vehicle when suddenly the young man tore off the necklace. After committing the crime, the criminals fled on the scooter. The policemen at the police station listened to the woman and some potential witnesses. The Carabinieri also arrived at the scene. Officers are handling the investigation. The cameras locals are being examined by investigators.
