“Rejects the complaint in the epigraph”. With this simple phrase, the Sports Court d’Appeal from the Figc rejected the second instance appeal presented by Forlì against the approval of the match lost with the Carpi. Match which ended with a 2-1 result on the pitch but for which, according to the Romagna club, Carpi would have deployed the player Cecotti irregularly: a thesis which, after the Sports Judge of D Series, the second degree sports justice body of the FIGC also rejected it. No surprises therefore from Rome, where the Court confirmed the orientation already expressed in other similar cases in the past. The ranking therefore reads Carpi as leaders with 65 points and Ravenna 63, as issued by the pitch after yesterday’s results, when the red and whites drew 1-1 in Imola and the Ravenna won 0-2 on the Borgo San Donnino pitch. An advantage that Carpi must defend on Sunday 5 May, the last day of the championship, when Certaldo will arrive at Cabassi, while Ravenna will be busy on their own pitch against Imolese. After which the championship will end with a definitive verdict, even if technically Forlì could continue its legal crusade at the Coni Guarantee Board. But the path, after two degrees of judgment, is definitively traced.
