In Corigliano Rossano the “Run and Walk for Peace”

On May 1st, Rossano returns to Corigliano Run and Walk for Peacea day of celebration dedicated to being together, sharing and peace, now in its 33rd edition.

It is a walk of about 5 km to be experienced and shared, which touches some of the most characteristic points of the artistic and naturalistic heritage of the city, starting at 10am from Viale De Rosis to arrive at Piazza Steri. The aim of the event is to increase the promotion of psycho-physical well-being through the practice of physical activity and the sharing of a moment of union and social aggregation for all citizens.

It will also be possible to register on May 1st (no later than 9.30 am) at the reception point located at the start although it is strongly recommended to do so beforehand. Furthermore, it is possible to enter the name of the school you belong to, so as to participate for the largest school.

Participation is open to all ages. Participants under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Carers will therefore be free to accompany their minors; they will be free to register and will also receive the participation kit. There is no registration fee. The participation kit includes the non-woven backpack, the t-shirt and a water bottle. The participation kit and medal will be guaranteed while supplies last. The kit will be delivered from 08.30 to 10.00 at the reception point at the departure.

At the end of the event the school in the municipal area which will be represented by more students will compete for the prizes in vouchers for school supplies in the following order: 1st place 300 euros; 2nd place 200 euros; Third place 100 euros. (rcs)
