Abruzzo Airport, there are 17 summer destinations

They are in total 17 destinations active in the summer monthsoperated in the Abruzzo airport by the companies Ryanair, Luxair and Wizzair.

“We wanted to organize theAbruzzo Airport Summer Season PartyAlessandro D’Alonzo, vice president of Saga – to seal the full start of the summer season which again this year sees Abruzzo Airport offering a wide variety of destinations capable of intercepting many tourists in our territorybut also of bring travelers to Italy and abroad who choose to leave from the Abruzzo airport. The work we are doing is constant for keep the big numbers which have been constantly growing in our airport in recent years. I just want to remind you that 2023 ended with a record number of well 872,701 travellersincreasing compared to 2022, of 21.9%. The first 3 months of 2024 are more or less in line with the same period of 2023, with 128,089 passengersa slight decline compared to the approximately 131 thousand passengers in 2023, but the month of March 2024 closed with 51,255 passengers, an increase compared to the same month in 2023 by 2.7 percent”.

Ryanair, Wizzair, Luxair

Ryanair – underlined the country manager Mauro Bolla – offers 15 routes planned for this Summer ’24 from Abruzzo International Airport, including the new one towards Frankfurt Hann. Ryanair this year celebrates 23 years of operation from Pescara where it has carried 8.5 million passengers since the start of its operations”.

In the summer months Ryanair operates Catania, Milan Bergamo Orio al Serio, Trapani, Malta, Krakow, London Stansted, Prague, Bucharest, Barcelona Girona, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt Hahn, Memmingen, Brussels Charleroi, Alghero and Turin. With Wizzair the connection is with Tirana, and with Luxembourg Luxair.
