About a thousand people will arrive tomorrow, Saturday 27th Vigone for the Gathering of the Elderly Meeting Centers of Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta. Welcomed by the mayor Fabio Cerato and the municipal administration, by the president of the Vigone Senior Center, Mario Partiti, by the president of the Pro Loca, Paola Salvai, and by the board of directors of the Piedmont Meeting Centers (CIP) who, together, organized the event . A party that happens in the city, Also present was the Governor of Piedmont Alberto Cirioon the occasion of the fortieth anniversary of the foundation of the Vigone Senior Center, which was inaugurated in 1984.
The program includes: the arrival of the buses from 8 to 9; from 9.30 to 10.15 photos of the groups; at 10.30 am the parade through the streets of Vigone, accompanied by the “La Vigoneisa” musical band with the Majorettes; at 11 am Mass in the church of S. Maria del Borgo, followed by greetings from the mayor and the authorities; at 12.15 the transfer of guests to the various restaurants in Vigone and the surrounding area. Participating for lunch were: “La Cucina Piemontese”, also present with catering in Stella di Macello, “Il SottoSopra” in the Rondello headquarters and “Parlapà” in Vigone, as well as “Il Centro” in Cercenasco.
In the afternoon, between 3.30pm and 3.45pm, transfer to the Horse Museum, in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II in Vigone, for the award ceremony of the presidents of the Meeting Centres. A dance entertainment will follow in the same place. Alternatively, those who wish can go on a tourist visit to three historical places in Vigone: the church of S. Maria del Borgo, the Selve Theater and the “Luisia” Historical Library in via Umberto I.
