Registration opens today for the sixth edition of Edileco Run24. The twenty-four hour relay race will take place in the center of Aosta between 28 and 29 September 2024.
As in previous editions, participants will be able to choose whether to join the competitive or non-competitive event, benefiting from a discounted rate if they register by May 19th. This year the competitive race includes two categories: 1 and 12 participants and, as per the regulations, at least one runner must be present for 24 hours in the technical area identified with Piazza Chanoux or Piazza San Francesco. The non-competitive teams, however, do not have a minimum or maximum number of participants and will be able to take a six-hour break to recharge their batteries and return to the track more rested, handing the baton to the organizational secretariat and thus putting their team on stand-by. team.
«Last year was a real success: more than 1500 people ran along the historic center of the city including families, young people, children, amateur runners but also professional athletes», recalls the vice president of Ads 24, Sara Faraci. «During the race, musical shows, dance performances and the Silent Disco animated the square for twenty-four hours: a weekend full of celebration and fun for the entire city of Aosta. We are excited to start again with the organization of this event that combines sport, health and attention to our territory and we hope that more and more friends of Edileco RUN24 will decide to run and have fun with us”, he adds she.
