Antonino Lollo’s great moment, double victory in Sardinia

Antonino Lollo’s season continues on the right foot. The Bergamo policeman from the Gav di Vertova has achieved two important victories in Sardinia in the last few days, achieving a prestigious placing in an international competition. At the Padua Half Marathon Lollo ranked 1st Italian and 6th overall in 1 hour and 8 minutes.

The policeman of Sicilian origins from Villa d’Ogna serving at the Bergamo Police Headquarters won the 10km at the Follow Your Passion in Chia, Sardinia, after crossing the finish line in 31 minutes flat. This is the third success this season for Antonino Lollo, in addition to numerous important placings. again in Sardinia he also won the Muravera race on 25 April.

“The main objective of this season was the 10,000 on the track which didn’t go very well in Brescia, but despite the heat that day I made myself available as a domestique for one of my teammates – explains Lollo -. I haven’t worked on the marathon this spring: the next objectives are to speed up and do well in some shorter races both at a regional, national and international level”.
