L’Urbino 12 Electric also arrives in Parma. Yesterday (18 April) the first three units ordered by the company were delivered TOE. In September 2023, the manufacturer delivered a fleet of eight Trollinos to the Emilian city, and in November a supply of methane buses was also completed by MAN, IIA and Indcar.

At the end of the deliveries, the 14 electric buses included in the supply will be used on line 8 (via De Chirico / via Savinio – Barriera Repubblica – piazza Garibaldi – strada Mazzini – railway station – via Palermo), which has a frequency of 10 minutes during weekdays, and an expected travel time of 40 minutes.

The livery is now typical of Parma, red and black, which characterizes the latest generation buses and trolleybuses.

The driving seat has a multifunction electronic display.

The internal spaces have been well designed, including a free area next to the second door, and a workstation for the disabled is provided. The seats are red, and the seats are mostly concentrated in the rear part of the vehicle. There are three doors, the first of which is roto-translating and the other two are expulsion.

The There are five lithium ion traction batteries, each with 88 kWh of power, for a total of 440 kWh, and are located both on the roof and in the rear part of the vehicle. The centrally positioned electric motor has a power of 160 kW. Charging will only be plug-in, via the charging point currently under construction in the TEP depot in via Taro.

The route indication veils are of the latest generation, with white characters on a black background.

The use of the new arrivals on line 8 will practically make it possible to have exclusively electric-powered vehicles available in the center of Parma.
