Borussia Dortmund-PSG 1-0: Fullkrug’s goal gives the home team victory in the first leg of the semi-final

Electrifying first half, played at a very high pace by both sides. Niclas FULLKRUG: Man of the match. He has the first playable ball in the 35th minute and turns it into a goal by piercing Donnarumma with a powerful left-footed shot to the near post. He wasted in the second half by hitting Sancho’s cross badly from an excellent position.

Promoted – Karim ADEYEMI: He wins the duel with Hakimi by running full length. Also excellent in the defensive recovery phase. He ends up free-diving after having spent a lot and leaves exhausted.

Failed – Kylian MBAPPÉ: He plays centrally in the front three and is rarely seen. After a first half spent trotting in attack, he hits the post with his first shot 5 minutes into the second half. Too little for a Champions League semi-final in which he waited in vain for the match to come to him.
