Sixty-one photographs to tell the story of the historic center – Turin Chronicle

The Old Town of Turin told through 61 photographs. On Saturday 20 April, starting from 10am, the “QXQ Centro” will be inaugurated, the 2nd photographic exhibition of the cycle dedicated to the 1st District which has given its patronage. The images will be exhibited partly at the Central Civic Library in via Della Cittadella 5 and partly at the reading room of the Polo del ‘900 cultural centre, in Piazzetta Antonicelli.

The event, organized by the association Photographic Districtfalls within the scope of the QXQ neighborhood Turin.

The theme and how it was conceived is what attracts because it wants to tell the identity of the territory, highlighting its uniqueness through images of less obvious places, the most original shots without neglecting the history and human life that animate it.

The 61 images exhibited are the work of photographers Raffaella Albery, Federico Anzellotti, Chiara Arlotta, Riccardo Bevilacqua, Fabio Bianco, Nicola Bisceglia, Marco Carulli, Daniela Ceppa, Catherine De Mitri, Roberta Donda, Stefano Facchin, Lorenzo Fasoglio, Marco Galluzzi, Emanuela Giorgini, Marco La Terra, Gianpaolo Melissano, Pino Nisticò, Ugo Rigano, Gerarda Simone, Marco Squillari, Debora Ughetti, Angelo Vitale.

The inauguration it will begin at 10 am at the Central Civic Library, and then continue from 11.30 am until 1 pm at the Polo del ‘900 Cultural Center. Free entry.

Timetables Central library: Monday 2pm-6pm; from Tuesday to Friday 9am-7pm; Saturday 9am-3pm. Polo del ‘900: Monday to Friday 9.30am-1.30pm and 2.30pm-6.30pm, Saturday 4pm-6pm.
