Dall’Ara’s costs are rising: and Bologna is looking for public and private partners. The restyling of the Dall’Ara and the setting up of the temporary facility should have cost 130 million, of which 90 were financed by Bologna and 40 by the Municipality of Bologna. “There are price increases of 30-40 percent”, explained rossoblù CEO Claudio Fenucci during a conference called by mayor Lepore to announce the resolution relating to the approval of the definitive renovation and modernization project of the Dall’Ara stadium . But it is a resolution that does not move, because the tender for the works can only start when the temporary issue has been resolved. “And there is work to be done – specifies Fenucci –, agreements with the new Fico board to be defined, an urban planning change for the park, but above all the economic-financial plan of the entire operation to be sorted out after the price increases: next week we will have a hearing at the interinstitutional committee to explain the project to the ministry of economy and sport and we will also meet potential investors and sponsors”. Approximately 50 million euros need to be raised. “Without certain costs and times, we cannot leave. And for now there are no certain times”, is Fenucci’s comment.
