Padua, Bonavina: “To say today when the new curve will be usable is impossible because we don’t even know when the works will start”

The sports councilor of the Municipality of Padua Diego Bonavina spoke on Monday evening on the program Tuttincampo changing rooms broadcast on TV7 Triveneta and hosted by Francesco Cocchiglia. Obviously there was talk about the new curve and it became known that the horizontal beam that surmounts the structure will have to be positioned as the work was not carried out with precision. The publication of the new tender for the completion of the works will take place only after this operation: “The beam – explained Bonavina – must be repositioned in the right position and must be made safe. To do this you need to use the crane and a series of machinery. These are necessary works to relaunch the tender, which will lead to the completion of the South and finally the unfinished closure of the two buildings. The works will be completed in three months at most. We will have a second contract which will take care of the finishing of the plumbing and electrical systems of the two buildings. It will be finished in three months at most, but saying today when a grandstand will be usable is practically impossible because we don’t even know when it will start.” Bonavina then added: “The undersigned and the mayor Giordani were not part of any type of plan, we represent all the citizens of Padua. A work was blocked due to no one knows who’s fault, you have to be guaranteed until the end. We await the outcome, but if this work was not completed within the timeframe written in the contract, the Municipality of Padua has suffered damage. Despite allusions and some who speak nonsense, the Municipality of Padua is the injured party in this procedure”
