FOGGIA – The director of the emergency room of the Riuniti hospital in Foggia, Paola Caporaletti, was the victim of an attack while she was on duty in the hospital. According to what we learn, she was first verbally attacked and then pulled – for reasons not yet clarified – by some people who were inside the emergency room. Some health workers were also subjected to verbal aggression with her.
Caporaletti has already filed a complaint. A new episode that adds to other attacks that have occurred in recent weeks against healthcare workers in the emergency room of the Foggia hospital.
The solidarity of the regional councilor for health Rocco Palese was immediate who, «having learned from the mayor of Foggia and the general director of the Riuniti polyclinic hospital company of the attack that occurred today against healthcare workers serving in the emergency room» expressed «closeness to those who were affected and asked the strategic management of the hospital to implement all reporting and prevention activities so that these episodes are punished and are not repeated again.”
