Returning horse, 60-year-old from Castellammare di Stabia arrested in Sant’Antonio Abate The Carabinieri of the Sant’ Antonio Abate station have carried out a precautionary custody order in prison, issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Torre Annunziata, at the request of this Public Prosecutor’s Office Repubblica, against a 60-year-old man from Stabia seriously accused of the crime of extortion.
The investigations, conducted by the soldiers of the Sant’ Antonio Abate station and coordinated by the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Torre Annunziata, were developed through telephone and environmental interception activities and, also thanks to the analysis of the footage from the video surveillance systems, made it possible to document the illicit conduct that the suspect allegedly carried out in December 2022.
The suspect, according to what emerged from the investigative activity, after agreement and in collaboration with other currently unidentified people, with the implicit threat of the definitive loss of the car removed shortly before, would have forced the owner of the vehicle to hand over the sum to him of 1500 euros in order to obtain its repayment.
In this circumstance, the victim, intimidated by the unfair damage expected of her, would have undergone the so-called “return horse”, delivering the requested amount of money to the arrested person, thus managing to find, a few hours after the theft, the own car, on the instructions of the criminals.
After the ritual formalities, the arrested person was transferred to the prison in Naples Poggioreale at the disposal of the judicial authorities.
