the meeting of the institutions with the citizens in Bacoli

A public meetingwith citizenship, on bradyseism. A way to respond to the questions and fears of citizens: this is what will happen Monday 6 May 3.30 pm, in the Sala dell’Ostrichina of the Royal Bourbon site of Fusaro, in Bacoli.

Organized by the Campania Region, the Department of Civil Protection and the Municipality of Bacoli, after the greetings of the prefect of Naples, Michele of Bariof the Security Councilor of the Campania Region, Mario Morconeof the Civil Protection councilor of the Municipality of Naples, Edoardo Cosenzadelegate of the Mayor of the Metropolitan City of Naples and of the mayor of Bacoli, Josi Gerardo Della RagioneIt will be given space for citizens’ questions on issues related to the bradysemic phenomenon, volcanic risk and civil protection planning.

«To provide an exhaustive framework on the various topics that will be proposed, both from a scientific and technical point of view – we read in a note – the head of the Civil Protection Department of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers will be present, Fabrizio Curciohis deputy Titti Postiglione; the general director of the Civil Protection of the Campania Region, Italo Giulivo; the director of the Ingv Volcanoes Department, Francesca Bianco; the director of the INGV Vesuvian Observatory, Mauro Di Vito; the president of the Reluis Interuniversity Consortium (Network of University Earthquake Engineering Laboratories), Mauro Dolce with the scientific director of the same Centre, Andrea Prota and the scientific director of the National Civil Protection Competence Center Plinius, Giulio Zuccaro».

Objective of the initiativewhich is part of the Communication Plan to the Population on bradyseism developed by the Campania Region as part of the Decree-Law 140 of 12 October and approved by resolution of the Regional Council of Campania number 679/2023, is to offer the population the possibility to receive all the useful information relating to the risk at the Campi Flegrei. The measures envisaged by the National Planning on bradyseism will be illustrated and a summary will be made of the state of implementation of the decree and the checks in place.
