It was renewed on Saturday 13 April, in twelve neighborhoods of Cesena, the traditional appointment with the solidarity collection. The initiative was created to support people and families in particular moments of economic difficulty and is organized in collaboration with the municipal administration of Cesena and various local bodies and associations (parish Caritas, San Vincenzo association, Mantello di San Martino, Scout Groups, Masci, Parishes, Cesena Solidarity Bank, Solidarity Emporium and Popular Kitchens).
From the Municipality they let it be known that all the neighborhoods have reached a superior result compared to last year’s collection, collecting in total 128 quintals of food products and beyond 1,500 products for personal hygiene, household and diapers.
In a note, the twelve neighborhoods and the municipal administration thank the citizens who “once again have demonstrated their… great generosity from Cesenathe volunteers who collected and selected the donated products from 9am to 6pm, and all the activities that took part in this local initiative”.
The donated products will be delivered from the neighborhoods to the reference voluntary associations which, in turn, will take care of allocating them to the most fragile families.
