“When I read the resolution I thought it was a joke. This is absolutely shameful. It’s true that in other cities parking in the historic center costs two euros an hour, but this is a blow to the citizens who frequent the area, the commercial activities and the merchants who are experiencing a profound period of crisis. And Aloisio (Confesercenti) and Labate (Confcommercio) are right. The comparisons are made later in an attempt to adjust the aim a little, of an administration that has no vision of mobility”.
Thus the city councilor of Lega Armando Neriwho spoke to our microphones during the last episode of Live Break, in a highly topical format, broadcast every Friday on our Facebook page.
“Do you want to increase the cost of parking in the center? Well, create interchange car parks to the north and south of the city, integrating a shuttle service that constantly goes back and forth, and which welcomes citizens and tourists to the centre.
We then talk about green mobility, as if this choice had been made for our health, but as if the bike sharing stalls were cordoned off even in Piazza Italia? There is absolutely no vision. Scooters have run away like hell from our city and we still don’t understand why. These are not things I say as an opposition councilor, but as a citizen who lives our city every day.
This – concluded Neri – is an administration that has no vision of mobility, in the absence of this vision, what did it think best to do? Further penalize citizens, already burdened with taxes and increase the cost of blue lines. Truly a shame. I hope that this resolution will be revoked.”
