The anticyclone will maintain stable conditions until the end of the month in Emilia Romagna, with a prevalence of good weather and rising temperatures, so much so that peaks of up to 26/27°C will be possible on Tuesday in the plains. From Wednesday 1st May, however, there will be a rapid deterioration of the weather, due to the approach of a disturbance linked to a depression that will dig between Central Europe and the Mediterranean.
This will result in rain and showers which will initially affect the western provinces of the region, with more significant phenomena in those of Piacenza, Parma and Modena. More moderate rainfall is expected in the provinces of Bologna and Ferrara, light in those of Ravenna, while some thunderstorms may reach the areas of Rimini, Forlì and Cesena towards the evening. Temperatures will decrease somewhat, although they will remain around 20°C during the day. On Thursday, with the transit of the depression over Central-Northern Italy, the day will begin under the banner of instability with even stormy phenomena, but the onset of southwestern currents will lead to an improvement by the evening with rain fading across much of Emilia Romagna.
In the following days, the permanence of a weakly depressed area in the Mediterranean area will maintain a certain variability in our region, with more frequent clouds and intermittent showers in the Apennines, extending in the afternoon hours at times than in the flat ones.
