According to the first reconstruction of the episode, a Volkswagen Golf hit the Ford Fiesta in front of it: the second car in turn collided with the minibus. At the wheel of the Golf was a 35-year-old from Fano, in the Fiesta a 64-year-old from Pesaro and at the wheel of the school bus was a 40-year-old domiciled in Fano, but resident in Liguria. The firefighters also intervened with a team that made the Fiesta safe, powered by methane. The local police also carried out legal investigations into another accident, which occurred around 3.30 pm on Viale Romagna in the Gimarra area.
Two cars involved
Also in this case it was a rear-end collision, which however involved two cars. Both cars were proceeding towards Ancona: first a Mercedes, driven by a seventy-year-old Senigallian woman (who was unharmed) and followed by a Volkswagen Golf. The driver was a 49-year-old woman from Fano who suffered minor consequences from the collision. The motorist was transported by a 118 ambulance, in code green, to the emergency room of the Santa Croce hospital, where she underwent precautionary treatments and checks. Traffic suffered some physiological slowdowns. The local police in fact implemented an alternating direction of travel to ensure that the legal investigations were carried out safely.
