Monday 13 May, at 10am, the author, journalist and critic Luca Sommi will present his latest book “The most beautiful. Short course to love the Constitution” at the Theater of the Prison House of Asti.
The event, included in Voltapagina projectis part of the initiative of Turin International Book Fairfounded in 2007 to bring the great authors of Italian fiction to prisons during the days of the Turin book festival.
Arrived at seventeenth editionthe project Voltapagina has gained appreciation and participation from writers, penitentiaries and external audiences. During the event, inmates will have the opportunity to interact with the authorsasking them questions about reading the work and the experience of writing.
In addition to promoting culture, this initiative confirms the House of Correction’s desire to encourage permanent meeting moments between the prison reality and the citizens.
How to participate
Citizens interested in participating in the meeting must book by sending an email to [email protected] (specifying in the subject: Book Fair 2024), by May 5, 2024, attaching an identification document. The presentation of the document it is essential for entry authorization procedures.
The external public is invited to show up one hour before the meeting, with an identity document and without bags or cell phones.
