The comeback is completed

Glaxo struggled, in the second 20 minutes they scored from the field only 6 times. Triple by Morandotti and Savio for the plus 9, but the Venetians return to minus 3. Bucci then resorts to Brunamonti again in the last 5 minutes.
The last seconds
At 74-68 with 39″ to go, a foul by Gray on a rebound by Gray on Danilovic’s rebound was overturned by the referees. Sasha gets furious and gets technical, having to go to the bench due to reaching the limit for fouls. Gray scores two free throws, then the two for coach Williams and Verona returns, threatening, to within 2, 74-72. Schoene, who up to that point had only made 3 missed shots in 27 minutes, scored from the corner, took a foul and made the extra, for the play that was worth the victory, 77-72. With time up Moretti will score the last two free throws (23 personal ones shot by Verona in the second half, only seven by Bologna, 37 against 18 in total) for the 79-72. For Virtus it is the tenth consecutive victory in the playoffs, after the streak of seven the year before, and the three in 1993/94.
