Fear in Sassari, where yesterday afternoon a two-year-old boy was hit by a car in via Leoncavallo.

The dynamics of the episode are not yet known, but from what has been learned, the child was inexplicably on the road when a Suzuki S Cross passed by conducted by a 67 year old man from Sassari.

The 118 emergency services immediately took the child to Santissima Annunziata in code red.

The child reportedly suffered a head injury. In the evening he underwent a series of tests to assess the extent of his injuries.

According to initial reconstructions, it seems that the little one was found together with my mother, when, perhaps due to a distraction or following a sudden and unpredictable action, he would have projected himself towards the road crossing from the side of the car parks towards the pharmacy.

The car would have hit him with its side.

They were moments of great fear for the mother and all those present: the child was crying and complaining of severe pain in his head.

The local police also arrived on site, carrying out investigations and collecting all the information to reconstruct what happened and ascertain any responsibilities.

Some witnesses also witnessed the accident and were interviewed by the officers.
