From 8 to 11 August the Kroton Jazz Festival at the Villa Comunale, preview on 7 August with the Tosca concert

The program for the next edition of the Kroton Jazz Festival 2024 has been presented, which will take place at the municipal villa from 8 to 11 August.
The programming is structured by providing two evening concerts, one at 9pm and one at 10.30pm between popular artists who collaborate or have collaborated with each other in order to encourage contamination between the groups.
All concerts will be free, except for the preview concert.
on August 7th the preview of the festival with the concert by Tosca, one of the most refined and fine interpreters of Italian music. Pre-sale starts by the end of the month on the Ticket one circuit.
August 8th opens with the concert of the Walter Ricci Trio, a popular crooner from Campania, with the “Naples Jazz” project. Immediately after the very high profile project of the great saxophonist Stefano Di Battista, dedicated to the music of Ennio Morricone.
On August 9th the concert by Eleonora Strino, rising star of female jazz guitar. This will be followed by the first international event of the festival: the concert by Jany McPherson, a talented Franco-Cuban pianist and vocalist.
On August 10th two other high-level events: Barbara Casini’s quartet with three formidable international musicians and followed by Peppe Servillo’s trio with Javier Girotto and Natalio Mangalavite with the project “The Year to Come” dedicated to Lucio Dalla.
On August 11th, for the last evening of the festival, the Quintorigo concert with the “Trilogy” project dedicated to Charles Mingus, Jimi Hendrix and Frank Zappa and followed by the famous drummer Roberto Gatto who will propose the project called “Lifetime” dedicated to the music of Tony Williams.
