“I also state this in reference to what happened a few days ago in Andria when a man was reported by the police after threatening the healthcare staff and kicking the entrance door of the emergency room of the city hospital, damaging it. I express my deepest solidarity Long live the colleagues and healthcare staff of the Andria emergency room who experienced real moments of terror.”
Delvecchio underlines that “In the preventive field linked to violence against us doctors, I applaud the initiative between the ASL Bt and the Provincial Command of the Carabinieri in order to strengthen controls, reiterating the always thanks to the Police Forces for everything they do”.
President Delvecchio’s conclusion: “We will discuss, as has already happened in the past, in our Board of Directors the scourge of violence against doctors and we reiterate our most complete collaboration with the Prefect Rossana Riflesso, the Chief Prosecutor of the Republic Renato Nitti and the general director of the ASL Bt Tiziana Dimatteo to try to eradicate the plague of violence against doctors”.
